In this hands-on training, our speaker will walk you through the essentials of creating your first Drupal website. By the end, you’ll have an understanding of Drupal’s fundamental building blocks and a working sandbox on a local development environment or an online server like Pantheon, that you can continue to use for as long as you like. What you need to prepare:

• Install PHP and Composer in your computer or laptop. Optional, install Git too
• Install a text editor like Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Atom or any equivalent in your computer or laptop
• (optional) Drupal local development environment like Acquia Dev Desktop, DDEV, Lando, or Pantheon Localdev
